San Antonio, Texas, June 18, 1999

Dr. Andre Alexander Kulisz has been advised today that he is being considered by the Minister of the Crown (New Zealand) for an appointment as a Director of Biotechnology -- advisor to the Crown. Doctor Kulisz is a resident of San Antonio. He is a scientist-entrepreneur and a noted developer of medical devices. He was an Executive Vice President and Chief Researcher of HK Medical Technologies, Inc., until the end of 1998 for which he had developed an original concept of the nonsurgical, intraurethral bladder control device for incontinent and retentive women.

Presently, for HK Medical, Dr. Kulisz is managing clinical trials of this device in the United States and Sweden. Dr. Kulisz is a publisher of the web site <kulisz.com> committed to female incontinence, science and technology of medicine. He is also an author of a soon-to-be-published book on prevention of female incontinence and bladder infections.

Dr. Kulisz's past assignments involve such prominent names as Medtronic, Pfizer/AMS, Sandoz (presently Novartis.)

In his statement, Dr. Kulisz said: "New Zealand has a very dynamic scientific environment that developed a number of very innovative and modern technologies that could be of a substantial interest to the biomedical industry worldwide.
