PELVITRAX (R)

Incontinence Treatment (Outpatient Program)

For residential treatment program: Is it a vacation or is it a treatment, why not both?

PELVITRAX (R) is a nonsurgical, nonmedication incontinence treatment program developed by Dr. Andre Alexander Kulisz, Ph.D., ND, and is based on his book "Drips, Leaks and Low Spirits, A Woman's Guide to Bladder Control, Infections and Depression."  The program addresses four basic elements of incontinence:

  • Depression
  • Urinary infections
  • Obesity/weight control (too much or not enough body fat)
  • Incontinence itself.

Although not all of the first three elements are always present, they are very closely associated with incontinence and need to be addressed and treated so the treatment of incontinence is successful.

For that reason the Pelvitrax program involves interdisciplinary group of clinicians and counselors.

The uniqueness of the Pelvitrax program is not only in addressing all four elements of incontinence (no other program does it), but also in the structure clearly defining the goals and milestones of the patient recovery.  Patient progress is closely monitored through the entire program.  Any concerns are immediately addressed.  Patients are individually appraised of their progress and given full control of their improvement process.  It is especially important, as in this program most of the work leading to the continence is done by patients.  Through the whole treatment patients are never left alone.  They are assisted and encouraged all the time, given positive feedback and individual, personal support.

Rather than making patients dry with medications and/or surgery, where patients are just passive recipients  of the treatment,  Pelvitrax program involves and teaches the patients not only how to recover from incontinence and the three associated elements.  It teaches and conditions  the patients to stay dry.  Along with this, the patients learn how to maintain positive attitude, and how to fight and prevent depression, urinary infections and maintain proper weight.

Improved sensation of vaginal intercourse leading to greater intimate fulfillment for both partners is just another benefit.

It is so much more than what other treatments have to offer.  That's why Pelvitrax is better, more complete and gives higher chances of permanent recovery.1

The program is practiced in the outpatient and residential form.  There is also a program for nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  The outpatient version consists of at least 12 treatment sessions.  Every session lasts at lest an hour to an hour and half (sometimes even longer).

Pelvitrax patients pay for this treatment themselves and receive itemized statement of charges for submission to their insurance companies for reimbursement, and/or as a proof of treatment for tax write-off.  We are working with a finance company on the low-interest treatment financing package that would allow the patients to spread the payments over a number of months.

Will keep you updated.

If you have any questions, give us a call.  Will be happy to talk to you and provide additional information.
